Mozilla has released a new version of the Firefox 90 web browser.
On July 13, 2021, version 90.0 of the Firefox browser was released for Windows (7/9/10), Mac, Linux and Android. The beta version of Firefox 91.0 has also become available for testing.
Probably the most important innovation in the latest version of the browser is the updated SmartBlock 2.0 social tracking blocking feature. It significantly increases the privacy of users when working on the Internet. In this version, Facebook’s scripts for collecting personal data are completely blocked, but if the user decides to log in with their Facebook account on any other website, the scripts will be run at the time of login to simplify the procedure.
The developers explained that Firefox 90 fixes various bugs and eliminates previously found critical and potentially dangerous vulnerabilities.
