The Ministry announced a tender with an initial contract price of 70 million rubles.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced a competition to select a contractor for marketing research of Russian and world hardware and software systems for the development of artificial intelligence (AI), including processors that simulate the work of the brain. This is reported by RBC with reference to the information on the competition published on the public procurement portal.

The winner of the competition, noted in the published application, will have to analyze the tasks and prospects of AI, study the proposals and achievements of domestic and foreign manufacturers of complexes. Including already existing ones.

The tender documentation contains an assignment to study Russian developments in the field of neuromorphic and tensor processors. The contractor will have to develop a “roadmap” to support at least three domestic hardware and software systems for AI tasks.

The initial contract price is 70 million rubles. The research will be carried out within the framework of the federal project “Artificial Intelligence” of the national program “Digital Economy”.
